Come by and ROAR!

We are an all-inclusive salon discussion for women's issues, meeting in Bucks County twice a month. We're open to gay, straight, bisexual, and trans women*, and are looking for those people who've got a lot to say, but never had a place to say it before. We want to talk with philosophers, visionaries, idealists, political activists, mental daredevils, geeks, freaks, sneaks, voters, unconventional conventionalists, hippies, beatniks, hackers, nerds, jocks, rock stars, moms, librarians, atheists, spiritualists, childfree, children-at-heart, the sardonic, the  laconic and the ironic, train robbers, bank robbers, ass-kickers, shit-kickers.... and Methodists! Um, you get the idea.

*Guys who realize they're not in charge or always right are okay, too.

What We Do

Every two weeks, we read a short essay (usually one findable online) and discuss it during our hour-long meeting. Topics range from the frivolous to the deadly serious, but one thing we always try to do is maintain a respectful atmosphere. (Check out our "About Us" for why.)

Our website is still fairly new, so our next public meeting is planned for April 17th at the Zebra-Striped Whale in Newtown. We will be discussing, "White Privilege: Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack " by Peggy McIntosh.
